Hi There,
I just got two 1TB disks and i would like to setup a RAID 1 system.
Now, my PC (Acer ASE700-EQ661A) features an on board raid controller where I have configured a RAID 1 array with my two new disks. Now I
booted Kubuntu, opened QtParted, expecting to see two disks (the original one plus the new array showing up as sdX). But I see three
disks, that is my original and the two new disks. Why is that? Where did my raid array go? Also when I boot from 9.04 alternate installation
disk, I get offered to activate my SATA RAID array? How do I activate this driver on an existing installation?
Thanks,
Ron
