No Audio For Flash

Fresh install on 9.04, getting no sound when viewing flash vids, I get system sounds and can hear music fine but no flash vids, I'm wondering if I can hear any videos

Did you check your audio mixer? Right-click on the speaker-looking icon, then "Show Mixer Window." Then, select "Mixer." Make sure PCM is turned up. I briefly had this problem myself, and this was the cause of it.

I swear I checked that before 2 or 3 times but that must have been before I had coffee

I had the same problem & thought of posting, then I decided to troubleshoot further before posting.

I have same issue, no sound in flash
--the PCM fix did not work
-- removed and reinstalled the flashplugins
still no audio in flash

any other ideas?

Just install kubuntu restricted extras, and after that open kmix (lower right of the screen) option, in mixer, increase PCM volume as loud as you needed, hope this will help you..
