    hide file

with gnome I used to hide files without renaming them by creating a file named ".hidden" where to list the files i want to hide.
It seems to do not work with KDE4 and Dolphin
    How can I do this?

    Re: hide file

The question is not much understandable
Can you please elaborate on further please.

As that said, adding a "."(dot) to the beginning of the file name make it a hidden file.
    Is that what you wanted?

There is also a setting in dolphin's preferences to show hidden files. You probably need to turn that off.
