    no flash in any browser

    hi!

    i've got kubuntu 8.10 with kde 4.2, and after a couple of updates, there's no flash in firefox. Neither opera, konqueror, .....

    Plugin is correctly installed, when I check aboutlugins at firefox it shows

    MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled
    application/x-shockwave-flash Shockwave Flash swf Yes
    application/futuresplash FutureSplash Player spl Yes

    I tryed installing the plugin from adobe pages, and nothing.

    The result: youtube player is impossible to watch, flash pages doesn't work,.......


    any help?

    It's solved.

    First:
    wget http://queleimporta.com/downloads/flash10_en.sh

    Then:
    sudo bash ./flash10_en.sh

        Just an FYI the other thing you can do is install the restricted packages. That includes support for just about everything under the sun and also includes the JRE and flash for your browsers as well.

        Now if only I could get flash to run on my Blackberry than I'd truly be in heaven
        Kubuntu II on both Laptop and Desktop and some servers here at the office
