Wrong drivers installation and crash...

I installed the wrong ati drivers I think they were made for gutsy gibbon
so when I try to open Adept or the drivers controller nothing happens, it loads a bit and then crashes.

any suggestion about how to remove what I just installed?

I don't know if it's of any help, but the ATI drivers i installed cured the resolution problems i was having, if you:

sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-video-ati

sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-video-radeon

sudo apt-get install xorg-driver-fglrx

they should over-write the existing ones.
