I have been using Kubuntu for just over a year now, and with each install -- Feisty, Gutsy, and Hardy, i have had to hack around with the about:config settings in Firefox and Thunderbird to get them to talk to each other.
I installed Intrepid over a month ago and have been up-dating it regularly, and using it on-and-off since then to get used to the new environment.
The first things to be installed in it were Firefox and Thunderbird, in exactly the same way as in Hardy... with Ubuntuzilla.
The only browser i use is Firefox, but i didn't initiate Thunderbird until today, when i decided to give it a spin and access my accounts.
It down-loaded some messages for me, and i - unthinkingly - clicked on the link in one.
To my amazement, the message immediately opened in Firefox !!
This means that all that time i spent <searching> this Forum for different ways to get that to happen has been wasted !
It has taken all the fun out of my life.
