Keyboard Shortcuts

I'm mightily confused by keyboard short cuts under KDE 4.1, I just can't figure out how to set them up. I've fiddled with the "Keyboard & Mouse|Keyboard Shortcuts" and "Input Actions" but nothing seems to work.

All I want to do is assign one key to "Suspend" (pm-suspend). Can anyone point me in the right direction ?

Also I'm downloading the RC right now so advice re it is relevant.

right now in 8.10 the keyboard shortcuts don't work (at least for programs)

the way to do this would be in the Kmenu Editor (right click on ur K menu to get to it)
under advanced for the program you want to launch (you might have to make one for pm-suspend)
you can assign a shortcut key, however right now they don't seam to work even though it saves the key and looks like it should work correctly.
