Hi guys
I recently upgraded my kubuntu 8.04 to 8.10
I troubled a lot for make new (k)networkmanager work well.
Now knetworkmanager manage now the small lan with my laptop and a adsl modem.
I usually connect to the internet via pon dsl-provider script I should execute in a terminal.
Now I wonder if is possible to let networkmanager manage even dsl connection (as it did before I upgrade from hardy) though knetworkmanager don't. Gnome has nm-applet and you can set dsl parameters up in a dedicated tab. Those settings are stored in a xml file somewhere in a user folder.
I believe you can write a dsl setting file by yourself and let networkmanager use it.
Does anyone know anything about it?
I'll apreciate it
