Keyboard and Mouse, doesn't work (solved)

Brand new to linux here so take it easy on me, please.

When installing kubuntu the keyboard and mouse worked flawlessly.

Once it finished installing and rebooted to the login screen the mouse nor the keyboard would work, please help!

They keyboard is a PS2 keyboard and the mouse is a USB trackball mouse.

Also, if i hit alt+f1 it brings up the Konsole i believe and they keyboard works just fine there, i am able to login and everything.

Just a bad install of Kubuntu I believe, all is well after a reinstall
