Upgrade Pooched my MySQL Server

Not happy about this particular instance -
I upgraded from Hardy to Ibex, had to use the alternate CD. When upgrade was complete - I had NO Mysql, NO Apache

I guess the upgrade just decided that I did not need those programs.

DAMN!

oh well
nutting I can do about it - except re-install - and hope that maybe my DB's are still intact somewhere.

the my.conf file still exists - nothing else though
