    No input on boot

I installed II from the daily live cd, and when it booted I was punted out of X, so I rebooted, ran the recovery mode, and Xfix, it now loaded X fine... except keyboard and mouse input did nothing. I *could* use Ctrl+Alt+SysRq+R though, but not Ctrl+Alt+Backspace or Ctrl+Alt+F(1 to 6). You help is appreciated.

Probably a video driver or video mode issue. Can you tell us about your video chip -- make, model, and what driver you believe it is using?

I have an Nvidia 7300GS, and it's the stock drivers as I have yet to have a chance to install the nvidia restricted drivers. The Live CD ran fine graphically, if that means anything.

Hmmm. Well, the "nv" driver should work just fine. Take a look at the log file at /var/log/Xorg.0.log -- near the end should be some kind of error, if it is a video problem.

Also, you might boot recovery mode, and then as root
        Code:
        /etc/init.d/kdm start
and observe what the error output says.
