New graphic card with dual head

good morning,
I'm new to Kubuntu.
I'd like to install a new graphic card in order to use 2 monitors. I have a PCI Express slot.
I do not need extreme performances. Just run an application on one monitor and browse on the internet on the other

Any suggestion for a card with proper and stable driver?

Better stick with Nvidia and ATI, and get a higher-performing model since you're planning on running two monitors. I like Nvidia cards myself, for Linux -- overall they seem to have fewer driver problems. You can study the "multimedia" forum on Ubuntu Forums and learn a lot from the threads there, regarding which cards and combinations are causing folks grief.
