    Safe graphics mode problem

I always use the 'safe graphics mode' to run (k)ubuntu because my nvidia graphic card don't like the 'nv' driver
Now, I downloaded kubuntu 9.10 beta and it want run in safe graphics mode. I get the same odd screen like when it uses the 'nv' driver

You need to use a boot option. There's some information on FAQ #2 in my signature.

Try "vga=785" or "vga=788" first. If that does not work, try "xforcevesa". One of them should work. From Live CD, I think it is F6 to add a boot option, right?
