Adept Installer keeps showing the same update.

First to say I had to put Kubuntu 8.04 on another hard drive on my computer as I have GRUB issues. But anyway the problem I have on this hard drive with Kub 8.04 is that after installing all the stuff from the Medibuntu library I ended up with the Adept Installer icon telling me of updates for the stuff I just installed. That went good. Then after all those updates the Adept Installer icon popped up again for an update to K3B, so I updated it and after that the Adept Icon won't go away. It keeps saying "There is one updated package available" which is K3B. When I look at the bottom of the Adept screen it shows "Download 0 Install 0. I have done this about 4 or 5 times and the icon won't go away. Keeps showing 1 update and it is always the same.

Any ideas?

try sudo aptitude
its the same just no graphics
maybe u have some broken pakages

or u kould write i the console
ps aux
sudo kill (pid) of the adetp that is still running
