Kate hang while saving

Today, I have a strange problem. My Kate hang if I try to save. Is there anyone ever met this problem? I believe I haven't change any setting till today.

Btw, I try to find the error by running kate from konsole. But the konsole doesn't output anything. Do anyone know other way to look the output of process?

The "classic" ones to look at in case of malfunction are

dmesg
cat /var/log/messages

I'm sure there are others (and would be interested to hear about them )

Give them a whirl and see what they spit out

dmesg seems give a lot of information. But too pity. The problem has gone after I log out. Seems like it happens randomly... So I have no clue now.

Maybe now I should see the file messages...
