songbird not starting

i've downloaded songbird from both its website and from getdeb.net,both not working


when i installed it using dpkg,i only get the license agreement and then nothing happens


any help with that?

I was using Songbird for a while but found it kind of slow.

i've tried following the steps of the how-to,but gdebi crashes when i try to install it,and when i install it using bash,the same problem happens,and i've satisfied all the dependencies for it already,also i installed all the packages written in the how-to,still not working
