A "Slip Box" program for Ubuntu: how do I install it in Kubuntu?

Hi the following link contains a download-link for this "slip-box" program for Ubuntu.

    http://www.cc-c.de/english/download/zettelkasten.php

The problem is that, after installation, when I run the program I obtain the following error message:

"./ZMzettelkasten: error while loading shared libraries: libgnomeui-2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

This program seems to be looking for some gnome libraries. I have "libgnomeui-2.so.0" installed, but I don't know how to make the program recognize the file.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

the problem is a library not installed, go into adept, etc.. and install libgnomeui and keep starting and installing the libs until u don't get any more errors.

      Nowshining, thanks for your reply!

Actually the file IS INSTALLED on my computer, according to the Adept Manager. The funny thing is though, that when I want to copy that file to the directory, where the program is installed, it copies a file with zero kb of size! I am thinking of creating a symbolic link, from within the directory of the program to the location of the file. Does that make sense? If yes, how do I have to do it?

Could it eventually also be a permissions problem?

      Thanks again for your help!

i had the same problem - and yes a symbolic link should work, but i suggest before doing so, in the terminal run -

        Code:
        sudo ldconfig
ur pw wont's show as you type

then if that doesn't work, try creating the symbolic link and then running ldconfig again
