Unable To Get Into /home After Multiply-Claimed Blocks Problem

I was having boot problems, mainly concerning multiply-claimed blocks, so I have just completed running e2fsck on /sda3 partition from a livecd. After booting normally I can get into Kubuntu and can see folders on my /home dir, but all are empty. When I look in Storage Media I can see the mounted drive volume has 55 GB used. Is there any way to reclaim my data?

I would recommend that you alt-f2 (run command)
    kdesu konqueror
this will run konqueror as root user, navigate to your home directory and maybe you will be able to see them them.
Might also be worth right-clicking on the background of your home folder>preview in>File Size View. This will show the the folder with all of its contents scaled by their size (including hidden files).
