I'm not sure if this is a Kubuntu or KDE or Tbird issue, but I thought I'd try here first.
EVERY time my box reboots, the TBird icon on my panel disappears, leaving behind a 'ghost' icon: invisible, but lights up with a little pointing hand and tooltip saying 'thunderbird'. When I click the cost, a 'new' instance of Tbird starts, asking me to start the setup process. I right-click > remove, then add application > internet > tbird and back the tbird icon comes, starts my installed version with all my mailboxes etc etc.
the next time it reboots, same story (I generally reboot after each flood of Hardy updates)
I've also just noticed that everytime this happens, it also removes the last however many lines I have entered in Konsole (ie the command history isn't there when I up-arrow to get them
any suggestions?
