Hardy 64 bit with KDE 4 Network problem

1st I want to ask if any one notice this or is the a bug I need to report
I loaded 8.04 Kde 4 on an intel quad core 6600 with ati radeon 2400 XT Pro graphics and a
    1 gig network card.
I can go on the internet, but I can not set up the network. It on gives timeouts. No network
setting available. I have a static I need to set up with a specific volume and login.

Re: Hardy 64 bit with KDE 4 Network problem

I doubt seriously the problem has anything to do with the 64-bit architecture, but we can find out for sure. Did you run the Livd CD, before you installed? How did the network perform with the Live CD? (you can still try it if you want).

Also, it would be good to see the output of

    Code:
    lspci
