I gave ked 4.1 a try and want to go back to Gnome. I have tried everything I can think of and it defaults to the black kde screen when booting and I cannot get back to gnome for the life of me. My login screen has no options except a dialog box for my user name and then my password so selecting gdm is not a choice for me. very frustrated. I went into console as root and killed all kd processes and it still boots into KDE.
