Hello,
I am trying to install Kubuntu. I partitioned an external hard drive with the manual selection. It went through the install procedure, but when restarted I get a screen with this on it.
Ubuntu 8.04.1 Kernel 2.6.24-19 generic
Ubuntu 8.04.1 Kernel 2.6.24-19 (generic Recovery mode)
Other Operating Systems
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
When I select the first one I get a "Error 22 no such partition".
When I select Windows I get "error 12 invalid device requested".
Please, does anyone know what I need to do to fix this? Thanks for any help.
