I was installing a bunch of OpenGL stuff trting to make anoher program's graphocs work and I've completely lost my GUI. Don't know if I corrupted the driver or what. Don't know where to begin to try to fix things from the command line. Help!

the easiest way is prolly for you to enter recovery mode, from grub look for an entry with (recovery mode) after it. from there you can use the "attempt to fix Xserver" option. that will NUKE your xorg.conf and replace it w/ a new one. you might want to back up ur /etc/X11/xorg.conf file before attempting this.
