I have a USB bluetooth dongle and a Nokia 6126. I've tried Wammu and Kmobiletools and they didn't get me anywhere (Wammu actually now crashes upon launch). Kitchensync has allowed me to get the furthest. When I insert the dongle, bluetooth fires up and pairs with the phone.
When I click Sync for the Nokia 6126 group, I get a prompt on the phone for my PIN. I enter that and hit button for OK. Then I see the phone is asking for "16 digit code". When I start to input numbers (figuring it must be the SIM card number because that's 16 digits), the message changes back to "Enter PIN code". But if I enter all 16 digits fast enough and hit button for OK, KitchenSync asks for the PIN code to match. But then the phone drops the bluetooth connection with a fail.
That's it. I get the conflicting requests on the phone, and sometimes get as far as a reciprocal prompt in KitchenSync, but the twain she ain't a meetin'. I tried other channels in KitchenSync but so far only channel 4 lets me get this far. I tried with credentials and without. I tried SyncML version 1.1 and 1.0 (1.0 is what it's set to now). I see the OBEX server works because I can see the phone and copy files to it.
Anyone got any ideas? I'm out of battery on the laptop so can't continue right now but I'll try various other incarnations of type (I think there were other options than over SyncML so I'll try one of those) and SyncML versions, but I'm hoping someone has seen something similar and has gotten it to work.
