since I upgraded to 8.04 I'm having this wierd problem with my dvd drive.
I can't mount /dev/cdrom0 and programs like xine can't access dvd's. Then I found out that the device's name is changed to scd0. So changeing the devices name in xine did the trick. Although I can't mount /dev/scd0 manually and a look in the fstab ensured me, that the device is still /dev/cdrom0....
I'm quite confused...
