    Drupal left behind cron jobs

I installed Drupal 5 from the repositories, decided it wasn't for me, and uninstalled it using Adept. That was a week or two ago, and today I find that my system log is recording the following event about every 5 minutes:

    (www-data) CMD ( [ -x /usr/share/drupal5/scripts/cron.sh ] && /usr/share/drupal5/scripts/cron.sh)

The /usr/share/drupal5 folder does not exist, so I'm guessing nothing is actually happening, but why didn't the uninstall undo the cron script? How do I get rid of it?

I'm on Kubuntu 7.10. Not sure what information I can give that would be relevant, so if I've omitted something, please ask.

I am a learning rookie in Linux, so please provide specific instructions.

    TIA,
    Beckfield

Removing (edit cron): Press Alt+F2, Run Command window pops up, Type: kdesudo kcron (asks your password). KCron starts..

    F1 will launch KCron Handbook:
KCron is an application for scheduling programs to run in the background. It is a graphical user interface to cron, the UNIX® system scheduler.

but why didn't the uninstall undo the cron script?
Program developer/packager had a bad day ? -> You could report bugs: K/X/Ubuntu bugs
    Before you edit, BACKUP !

Why there are dead links ?

If you run synaptic (I do as I think adept is just not as good yet) look for for a heading

      Not installed (residual config)

and remove drupal from that list by rught clicking and selecting complete removal. Many apps leave behind residual stuff just incase you want to reinstall them.

Thanks. I'm not at my system, so I'll give this a look this evening. I did run 'sudo cron' last night, but it only showed one item, and it didn't appear to be related to drupal.

        Thanks again.

Thanks SB. I'll look at this tonight.

Well, it looks like Synaptic took care of it. The KSystemlog is showing no more instances of the event since I did the complete uninstall. Apparently the Adept removal process left something behind.

Thanks to both for your help!
