Since the latest update, I'm getting an access denied message when Kubuntu loads the Desktop on my laptop. I also get one if I attempt to pull up a directory of the 2nd harddrive. In both cases the permissions haven't changed (and they're set to the user name and a group that user is a member of) so I'm not sure what to try next.
Kubuntu loads fine otherwise, and programs will run without any problem.
ETA: Solved. Something reset the permissions so that I didn't have permission to enter that directory, so I reset the permissions.
