How do i get a mac look??

How to get this look(mac toolbar wid floating icons)?/

I have tried to install that dock but dint succeed(when i do ./configure i get no such command found). Finally i need that look. Help me : )

Kool dock is in the repo's when downloaded and installed do a 'run command' with kooldock and it will show (for a second) at the bottom of the screen.

Since your in the Gutsy forum I am going to assume your trying to install this on linux, Kubuntu Gutsy Gibbon.
1. You must have 3d support drivers installed.
2. You must have a compositing manager installed. Examples: Compiz Fusion, Metacity, Xfce, Cairo to name a few.
3. Once you have a composite manager working then install awn:
In Console:
(Type this whole section at once before hitting enter)
echo 'deb http://download.tuxfamily.org/syzygy42 gutsy avant-window-navigator
deb -src http://download.tuxfamily.org/syzygy42 avant-window-navigator' | sudo tee
-a /etc/apt/sources.list

Then type (one line at a time)
wget http://download.tuxfamily.org/syzygy42/reacocard.asc
sudo apt-key add reacocard.asc
rm reacocard.asc

Now install awn
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install avant-window-navigator-bzr awn-core-applets-bzr python-gnome2

i have installed it. But it crashes very frequently . Any solution ?

Mine doesn't crash - it just doesn't keep running unless I have a terminal open with my original command.

Is yours different?? Does anyone know how to make it start automatically and not need a terminal open?

it should autostart after the first time you run it - it is a bit buggy does crash sometimes.

Add it to autostart applications if need be

Open Dolphin, or Konqueror to,...

~/.kde/Autostart

And put a 'Link/Shortcut" to the program(s) you want to autostart. Or create a script to load several programs.

- "Right-click", and select "Create New -> Link to Application". Fill in the information for the program, and click "Ok".

It should automatically load when you log in.
