    Compiz -- lost 3D render!! :(

I've installed Compiz-Fusion and now I don't have direct rendering. What the heck?...

    paulo@paulo-laptop:~$ fglrxinfo
    display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: ATI Mobility Radeon X1350
    OpenGL version string: 2.1.7170 Release

    paulo@paulo-laptop:~$ glxinfo | grep render
direct rendering: No (If you want to find out why, try setting LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose)
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect

And now shows Mesa GLX instead of ATI Mobility Radeon X1350?!?

    Help??

    What I did:

    1) In Adept, installed compiz-core, compiz-fusion-plugins-main, compiz-kde, compiz-plugins, compizconfig-settings-manager, emerald.

    2) Installed XGL from Adept.

    3) Reboot.

Re: Compiz -- lost 3D render!!

    Solved.

Uninstalled XGL (sudo apt-get remove xserver-xgl) and now shows correctly:

    paulo@paulo-laptop:~$ glxinfo | grep render
    direct rendering: Yes
OpenGL renderer string: ATI Mobility Radeon X1350

I read somewhere in this forum that it was supposed to be installed... *whatever*.
