Cheese not working

Hi,

I have a Genius GE-111 webcam.

It is detected by the system and works fine with kopete, but it is not detected by cheese.

I've installed cheese with adept manager.

Any help on this is welcome.

I also have installed Cheese from the Repository,
my web cam is "logitech quick cam chat usb,
it is detected in skype and kopete,
but not in Cheese, help please.

Cheese select another device - TV tuner (/dev/video1  instead  video0)
and no settings for adjustment.

Logitech Webcam is detected by the system and works with kopete.

System: Kub 8.04 (Hardy).
