repositories...

hey i just reinstalled kubuntu, but can't find a good list of repositories... anyone got any resources?

i'm looking to have the all of the repositories, including the restricted ones and what-not, i'm trying to get avi/mpeg/DVD's to play.... i know on ubuntu they have a sources.list generator... is there anything like that for kubuntu? or can someone just copy their file with all of the repositories??

one more question... does kubuntu use the same repositories as ubuntu?

If your goal is simply to enable a repo that has the non-free codecs, then here's the ticket:

Follow the instruction to add the Medibuntu repository -- that's better than pasting in someone else's source list, which may or may not live happily on your system.

And yes, the *buntu repositories are all the same, and are segregated by release version (Dapper, Edgy, Feisty, Gutsy, etc.).
