How do I configure /etc/resolv.conf to connect on dialup

I've figured out that the settings on my /etc/resolv.conf file are preventing me from connecting on my serial dialup. How do I configure this thing? Thanks.

Why did you say that what's on that file ? the first time I run kppp I need to create that file but I simply created a blank one.

Do you Yahoo ? No I hiccup only :P
