dolphin: error in "opening as root"

if directory name contains space(or no space) and symbol such as "&" (for example: New & Old or New&Old), opening this directory by 'open as root' will pop up an error message showing "command not found!"

There is another similar error/bug has been reported in launchpad:
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...in/+bug/154980

"if there is a directory that contains space in the name (for example 'New Folder'), and I open this directory by 'open as root' option (in Dolphin), Dolphin will open 2 directory: a directory named 'New' and another named 'Folder', and than alert me that these directorys doesn't exists."

What command are you using to launch dolphin as root?
Try using the command: /usr/bin/kdesu.distrib dolphin

And perhaps have a look at this recent thread about using dolphin as root (where the command I mentioned was given): http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/inde...opic=3086993.0
