smbmount of network drive

I am occasionally able to mount a windows ntfs partition on my newly installed 7.10. I say occasionally because occasionally smb decides to ask for a password when one is not necessary for mounting this partition. I have successfully mounted this partition without it asking for a password in the past.

Here is the appropriate line from my /etc/fstab file:

//192.168.0.2/D /media/desktop cifs ro 0 0

Any thoughts?
