printing system don't works

Hello everybody

I installed Kubuntu 7.10 beta when it comes out, and then made all updates.
Since the installation printing system don't works at all, with systemsettings I can't add a local printer when I select to add a printer using cups, if I start hp-toolbox or hp-setup using konsole them prints out some welcome messages but nothing appens.
I tryed reinstalling hplip but no changes...

With Edgy on another PC the same printer works fine, but I don't think it's a printer related problem, I think it's a printing system problem...

I had a similar problem with my HP DeskJet.
