This could be hardware or software -- I'm not sure. All of a sudden, my 1600x1200 screen is shifted about three-quarters of an inch to the left, and a gray bar is filling that space. Funny, the kicker panel goes all the way across the bottom, but not the background, which is shifted left, and when I slide windows right, they appear to slide under that gray bar. Weird ....

Re: Screen shift to the left, anyone?
No -- this is a new Gutsy system, so everything is rather new. But I put a 1600x1200 desktop background up the other day, and was surprised today to see the whole thing shifted to the left. I changed it to one of the KDE standard backgrounds, and it makes no difference. I double-checked that my Nvidia driver hadn't somehow gotten the resolution changed, but it's sitting there at 1600x1200 where I set it. If my display didn't work perfectly on Ubuntu, I'd be suspecting my video card of going bad. Strange .....
