I am using a Sprint EVDO card which registers /dev/ttyUSB0 and ttyUSB3. When using the KPPP dialer tool, the modem does not respond to ttyUSB0 but works perfectly with ttyUSB3. If I try to set up the connection via the KDE Network Management under the Mobile Broadband tab, the widget shows two instances of my mobile Broadband modem, but automatically tries to execute the connection of ttyUSB0. I can't find any place to specify the device name to use for the connection. Is there a way to force it to ttyUSB3?
