I want share my internet connection for my laptop through my wireless card like as i read

My desktop PC connect to internet with ethernet(modem/router) and olso it have one usb wireless adaptor.
I want to give internet to my laptop(wich have a wireless adaptor too) from my Desktop PC.
In the URL: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Wi...%7C%28share%29 i read that it works for ubuntu 7.04 & winXP Pro ONLY.
I have Kubuntu 7.10 in my pc and WinXP home+Kubuntu 7.10 in my laptop.
Has anyone do something that in 7.10?
