Installing Gutsy

Am trying to install Gutsy Gibbon. WIth Kubuntu it halts / stalls @ "Running local boot scripts"; any input at this screen has no effect.

With Ubuntu Gutsy, the install halts saying it can't identify my Graphics card.

Card is Radeon 9200 SE, M'Board is Epox EP-4SDM2+ with Pentium 4 2.00.

Any ideas?
