Problems booting kernel newer than 2.6.20-11

    Hello

I have a problem booting a kernel newer than 2.6.20-11. Every newer kernel will stop booting after some "USB HID core driver" text output. I had this problem before stable version of Feisty and still it is not fixed. What can I do? I tried a lot of things and nothing helped.

    Use 2.6.20-11 kernel
Comple your kernel - probably there are some drivers that are not by default, check both kernels (working and not) configurations and see what is wrong.

You mean "compile your kernel?" I dont want to do this, cause it will cause more problems than I have now.

How to check the kernel configuration? Thanx.
