For whatever reason when I try to launch Syanptic the kde su window comes up and does not render the contents of the window. How do I disable beryl rendering for that window type?

Re: how to turn off beryl effects on specific window types
Mehhhh -- I never heard of a Beryl capability to discriminate between windows. Does it seem to render other GUI windows appropriately (like Konsole, kate, etc.)? Sounds like glx isn't quite working. Can you run glxgears and get a graphic and a fps calculation?
