    alternative for ksnapshot ?

Hi, I want to be able to take sreenshot while pressing alt+tab (showing the task swithcer)? I can't do it with ksnapshot. Can anyone recommend another screen capture program?

Works fine for me (if I set a snapshot delay of a few seconds so I can open the task switcher)

Tested with kwin, are you using compiz/beryl?

        And there are:
        recordmydesktop
Captures audio-video data of a linux desktop session

        krecordmydesktop
        kde frontend to recordmydesktop

If you need picture with mouse pointer (or somethig ).
        Before you edit, BACKUP !

Using Beryl as the windows manger, snapshot won't do what is wanted, as the mouse isn't functional when using ALT+TAB.
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

While I don't have Beryl to test this, I think it should work: just set it
for a few seconds delay and full screen capture:
            Settings:

            results:

(On preview the images don't show, but right click->view image shows them. I haven't posted an image on this forum before)

I may have misunderstood the problem, if not, the mouse shouldn't matter because you've already clicked the "New Snapshot" button, after which ksnapshot waits the number of seconds you told it to and only then does it take the picture. That gives you time to press alt-tab.

Full-screen capture is the only option you do have with ksnapshot when you are using Beryl as your windows manager - that's the point being made: you can't use the other capture options.
