    Printing to PDF

    Is there any way, by which when I press ctrl+p instead of printing to postscript it prints to pdf
    or even in XPS . just kidding.

    like PDF machine for windows.

    While searching I found this

    Print to PDF using cups-pdf

    is there any better way?

    Under
    utilities->kjobviewer->filter->selectprinter
    I selected print to a file (PDF)

    But even after that when I press ctrl+p it shows option only for postscript

      Ctrl+P, Name -> Print to File (PDF) doesn't work for you?
      Jucato's Data Core

          Re: Printing to PDF

          Hi Rex,

          If you are trying to print PDFs out of Firefox, there is some extra doing to be done. As far as I can tell, cups-pdf under Kubuntu only makes pdf printing come up as an option in KDE applications or applications that rely on the KDE printing utility.

          Anyway, the instructions I used are at:

          They worked fine for me.
