    Daylight savings option

How do I STOP Kubuntu from setting the clock according to daylight saving time? I can set the clock back as su, but every time the system starts up, it's back ahead an hour.

I thought I did that and it still reverted to an hour ahead... but I'll post back after my next boot. Thanks!

Plan B (if applicable): skip the "automatism" and revert to "plain" ntp[date], as desribed in this text.

I tried the suggestion in the linked text, but I don't think that worked, because the synchronization server follows daylight saving time.

Does anyone know where to find an option to turn off automatic adjustment for daylight saving time? It in fact does not show up in the adjust date/time control panel, even in administrator mode. It should be, and in other distros I've used, it's there. It's just not there with Kubuntu.
