    Developing

Finally I figured out how to post a question here. Minutes ago I had to ask a specific individual for this. Anyway, does Kubuntu have a Common Lisp package? How do I access it? Does it need me to connect to the Internet to download it?
Can I install the GNOME desktop on Kubuntu? How?
    Thanks,
    hmas

I think it would be quite random to install GNOME on Kubuntu. Ubuntu would be a better choice, because it has GNOME by default. It seems to be possible though: http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/gnome tis what google gave me, ask google or search this forum before asking ;-)

Common Lisp package for what? Compiling?

Try opening up Adept Manager and searching for "lisp". (There also appear to be several Lisp-related packages; they all begin with cl- for easy identification.)
      For external use only.
