Problem with adapt_manager... (SOLVED)

I was trying to install amarok-xine package and at 99% downloading, I cancelled the download (as it was talking so long at 99%). Now Im not able to install/remove/etc anything using Adapt Manage as I get the

popup error window:
(Read Only mode: Database Locked - Adapt Manager)

"You will not be able to change your system settings in any way (install, remove or upgrade software), because another process is using the packaging system database (probably some other Adept application or apt-get or aptitude). Please close the other application before using this one."
