Default video driver for movie player

    Hi there,

I tried various VCD/DVD player comes with Kubuntu and they all didn't work, the reason is the default video driver is set to Matrox which I don't have, but the same player on other distro ie. Puppy Linux, which is a very basic one, works perfectly, I just wondering why an advanced distro like Kubuntu, detect and install my display card properly, still done it wrong on the movie player, or everything is setup without configuration to match with the system ? if this is so then doesn't sound good to me.
Do you Yahoo ? No I hiccup only :P

Try the XV drive. Are you using a Nvidia ou ATI proprietary driver?
If you find a grammar error in my text, is because English is not my native language :-)
