    Thunderbird 2 on repos soon?

    Hey I'm waiting for it to be in the repos. Does anyone know how long that normally takes? Not that 1.5 doesn't work great, I just want to try 2.

    You can alway try manual install from Mozilla official website.

      Or this script.

      Download it to your desktop and then paste these commands into the terminal:
      Code:
      cd ~/Desktop
      chmod +x installnewthunderbird.sh
      ./installnewthunderbird.sh
      Linux is ready for the desktop--but whose desktop?<br />How to install software in Kubuntu

        @aysiu:
        I installed TB2.0 from the moz. site it works great but if I use your script (curiosity killed the cat) Do I have to remove my previous TB2.0 install?
        Or will the script just overwrite it annd take my TB 1.5 settings?
        TB2.0 is located in '/usr/local/thunderbird/thunderbird'

            Perhaps it's in the /opt directory.

              Anyone have an idea of when we can expect this yet?
