I have a Starbridge Modem (Adsl) it has like most, a lan connection and a usb connection. Well when i connect it in USB it gives an error that i dont have time to see and the whole kubuntu crashes. If i have the usb connected in while booting, it locks the PC. AND if i do it while inside kubuntu after like 5 seconds everything goes slow and then locks up. This problem is not the end because when i switch to the lan connection dhclient and any other network commands dont work or get locked up forever. i have tried till now 3 times like the following:
1. Install Kubuntu 7.04 Beta (ROCKS!!!)
2. TRY to connect the USB part of the modem to the PC...wait about 5 secs...locked pc
3. TRY to connect through LAN connection..nope..cant do...no lan for you.
4. Cry and curse the world.
5. Go to step 1
