Feisty herd 2 iso is Ubuntu not Kubuntu

After deciding to try Kubuntu, and downloading a file called
    feisty-desktop-i386.iso a few hours ago from https://wiki.kubuntu.org/FeistyFawn/Herd2/Kubuntu

I get the Ubuntu version! (yes, after I installed it; although I suspected something was wrong when it came up with the wrong splash colors...)

Am I the only one?! Can someone direct me to an alternate download site? TIA

With all respect, if you are "trying" Kubuntu to see if you would wish to adopt it for regular use, you should probably not let your first experience be a pre-release/unstable version, which Feisty is. Go to the Kubuntu web site and get Dapper or Edgy -- Dapper is the most stable release available, Edgy (6.10) is newer and a bit less solid, although I've been running it since November and the only problems have been nooB-induced.

Here's your Kubuntu Edgy download site:

    Good luck with it!

<sigh> I've been using Ubuntu since Hoary... currently running 6.10 on a desktop... just wanted to check out KDE and Feisty in one fell swoop... hours & hours spent debugging a X issue on my (formerly) 6.4 laptop inspired me to do a fresh install... </sigh>

SO, can anyone point me to a Kubuntu Feisty Herd 2 iso?

AND, (ideally) confirm that Ubuntu is masquerading as Kubuntu at
https://wiki.kubuntu.org/FeistyFawn/Herd2/Kubuntu (PC (Intel x86) desktop CD link)
      (for my own sanity check).

      THANKS!

        Use the latest daily.
        http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/daily-live/current/

This will get you past an ubiquity bug and some python updates.

Thanks, I did that but the installer made me nervous when it came time to partition my drives (the behavior of the window was very odd -- way too small to begin with, then expanding to 3 times the width of the screen when I resized the window, among other strange things). SO, I just went with the incorrectly linked Ubuntu version & got the kde desktop using aptitude. Thanks for your help, it will be interesting to track the progress of both desktops as the release date approaches.
